The empa\u00adtouill\u00e9e doesn\u2019t only play the docile host of the d\u00e9pa\u00adtouilleuse, she is also the guest who chooses where and how she loses conscious\u00adness, laying out the crime scene from which she will be rescued.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">- Where does d\u00e9pa\u00adtouille come from&nbsp;?<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> D\u00e9patouille was born in a moment of fai\u00adlure, of frus\u00adtra\u00adtion, of latent conflict making rela\u00adtions tense. Authoritarian sta\u00adte\u00adments had repla\u00adced nego\u00adtia\u00adtion about <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">what is to be done<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. What the d\u00e9pa\u00adtouilleuse under\u00adtakes is a rescue ope\u00adra\u00adtion that ite\u00admises the tran\u00adsi\u00adtion from sla\u00adck\u00adness to sur\u00adrec\u00adtion. But the stan\u00adding posi\u00adtion \u2013 a conven\u00adtio\u00adnal pro\u00adject whose ambit consists in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pos\u00adture <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rea\u00addi\u00adness to walk \u2013 <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is nothing other than the triumph of the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">impo\u00adtent<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, spi\u00adne\u00adless <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ges\u00adteur <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in each of us, whose impo\u00adtence is main\u00adtai\u00adned by a dupli\u00adci\u00adty of prac\u00adtices. By sanc\u00adti\u00adfying a sin\u00adgu\u00adlar reper\u00adtoire of ges\u00adtures, he esta\u00adblishes him\u00adself against the back\u00addrop of a cult, the effi\u00adca\u00adcy of which inheres in nothing but the exhi\u00adla\u00adra\u00adtion of conven\u00adtio\u00adnal gaps&nbsp;; but (at the same time), as a pon\u00adtiff unsure of his infal\u00adli\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adty, he sub\u00admits him\u00adself to the the vica\u00adriate of atti\u00adtudes vali\u00adda\u00adted by the ens\u00adna\u00adring dra\u00adma\u00adtur\u00adgy of this cult. We call this racked-one-in-each-of-us, the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">empa\u00adtouill\u00e9e<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">- <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Delegating puis\u00adsance<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. For the d\u00e9pa\u00adtouilleuse, the ques\u00adtion of will is secon\u00adda\u00adry to the ques\u00adtion of power. During a d\u00e9pa\u00adtouille, the d\u00e9pa\u00adtouilleuse moda\u00adlises both the empatouill\u00e9e\u2019s move\u00adment and her own release from the alie\u00adna\u00adting rela\u00adtions of domi\u00adna\u00adtion equal\u00adly&nbsp;: as demiurge of a pure\u00adly cau\u00adsa\u00adli\u00adta\u00adrian phy\u00adsics (she is the one whose orders pro\u00advoke the acci\u00addents of a reac\u00adtive sub\u00adstance), within the confines of a game of d\u00e9pa\u00adtouille, she can\u00adnot be but an infe\u00adli\u00adci\u00adtous demiurge, since the result is not the rea\u00addy\u00admade pro\u00adduct of her orders, but the res\u00adponse of an inde\u00adter\u00admi\u00adnate <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">puis\u00adsance<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to a will of deter\u00admi\u00adnate <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pou\u00advoir <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><sup class=\"footnote\"><a href=\"#fn-5293-1\" id=\"fnref-5293-1\" onclick=\"return fdfootnote_show(5293)\">1<\/a><\/sup><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. D\u00e9patouille is an eman\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adto\u00adry prac\u00adtice that seeks to step back rather than to go under\u00adground. That which is left stan\u00adding at the end of a d\u00e9pa\u00adtouille is not addres\u00adsed to artille\u00adrists&nbsp;: the tra\u00adjec\u00adto\u00adry of a d\u00e9pa\u00adtouille is that of a feck\u00adless hero of the vali\u00addi\u00adty to which will not take long to turn this triumph into the typi\u00adcal pater\u00adna\u00adlism of the valids towards the inva\u00adlids.
